I was just diagnosed with terminal cancer. I was on Medicaid and they told me they would pay for hyperbaric chamber treatments. I was driving an hour away to get these and paying out-of-pocket. And was super excited that they were going to help me do this. To get in, they had to call my oncologist, which did not like me because I was fighting the fact that they did a biopsy on it and three months later, spread it all over my body breast bone, lymph, and liver. Office staff is excellent unfortunately the doctor who replaced Dr Rohrer did not follow his treatment regimen which was thorough and actually getting results. The new doctor also failed to understand the importance of wound maintenance in order for me to do the other treatment she requested I follow. My situation is specific and that may have been the issue however that does not excuse poor care. Instead of being close to done with this wound I now have start all over again.
