Had a behavioral health "appointment" where an NP talked with me for less than 10 minutes and prescribed me a medication that my primary care doctor could have prescribed. Nobody cared to tell me that my insurance didn't cover mental health at all and the lack of an explanation of benefits resulted in an over $500 charge for absolutely no care. I was blown away by how unhelpful this was for half a grand.
I keep receiving spam emails from this company despite never being a customer. I have already tried to unsubscribe, including by contacting the woman, Katie Borders, who repeatedly responds to negative reviews on this site. Texas Health wants me to agree to their terms of service to unsubscribe from spam emails I never wanted in the first place. That is an absurd business policy.
This review is not addressed to their medical providers. Some of the doctors are good, some are very very bad. I address here the administrative and "business" operations, plus their execrable web "portal." NOTHING WORKS. Provider admins do not answer their phones, and do not return voice mail messages, even when the call is urgent (not medical emergency).
