I came here for an ectopic pregnancy. I was told that I was fine, despite the ER staff not being able to see a sac in my uterus during the ultrasound and misdiagnosed what ended up being the ectopic near my ovary as a cyst. I was told by one of the nurses “were you Googling? Don’t be Dr Google, you’ll stress yourself and your baby out” which I found very condescending. If I had listened to that nurse, I could have died. I recently had an emergency appendectomy at Presbyterian hospital on Walnut Lane. From the moment I entered the ER to the moment I left the hospital, I was treated with courtesy and kindness. Dr. Ho, Bihn Dac took my medical history and symptoms and made a plan to confirm my appendicitis. He handed me off to the nurses in the ER area who took care of me until my surgery was scheduled. It was a little hard to find from the east parking lot.
After being bullied, mocked, laughed at and threatened by the staff at Baylor Scott and White ER in Forney... I came here to Presby Dallas ER and I am so appreciative of the quick and thorough treatment I recieved within 15 minutes of arrival. Dr. Till and the entirety of the night staff, including the security, this past Saturday into Sunday were very respectful and prompt. It was a complete 180⁰ from how Baylor treated me. I’m a doctor who went there because it was close to my home. I was NEVER examined by a physician. I received my own test results on my cellphone. I sat in a recliner for 6 hours. I was discharged with NO ONE ever telling me what was going on. I had surgery the NEXT day at UTSW - a competent and quality hospital. Please, DO NOT GOT TO THIS HORRIBLE HOSPITAL. It truly is the WORST place I’ve ever been!!!
