Dr. Via takes care of my mom. He seems to be a good doctor, and takes time with her. However, the office staff is VERY RUDE! It seems that most of his patients are older because of the area he's in. When I see how the front office people treat their patients, it infuriates me! I have had to intervene several times for my mom to get basic things like refills for her heart and blood pressure medicine. I'm trying to get mom to change doctors because of his office staff.
Dr. Via takes care of my mom. He seems to be a good doctor, and takes time with her. However, the office staff is VERY RUDE! It seems that most of his patients are older because of the area he's in. I find this office staff unorganized. An appointment had been made for my dad at 8 am. After we waited in the waiting room, my dad called back to a room, and dismissed I was told that they had done nothing at the appt and it was too early in the year to do his blood work, we needed to wait a month. Basically we went to the doctor for nothing. All this could have been avoided if they had called and canceled the appt. I do not reccommend this doctor.

Dr. Via is fantastic, he explains things on a level anyone can understand.Unfortunatly his staff is unwilling to provide any kind of customer service. They are not frienldy on the phone or in person. I hope he takes time t train them on being nicer to patients and patients families.

The staff and doctor was great. Before you can even see him, you have to fax records. The doctor will review them and determine if you need to see him. Most doctors would just schedule you and tell you at the first appointment that they can't help you. Dr. Mehta does not do that. He really knows his stuff.
