Dr. Via is fantastic, he explains things on a level anyone can understand.Unfortunatly his staff is unwilling to provide any kind of customer service. They are not frienldy on the phone or in person. I hope he takes time t train them on being nicer to patients and patients families.
Have been taking both of my aging parents to Dr. Via (as well as other doctors) over the past 5 years on a regular three month schedule. Dr. Via is a doctor that listens well and takes the time to communicate with his patients. His staff seems to change with the weather and this is the downside of his practice. OFFICE STAFF WAS RUDE and REFUSED TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. I didn't actually see Dr. Via, just a P.A.. But, the office staff is quite rude and doesn't seem to care about the patient. There is much more I could write, but it is a legal (or illegal) issue, so I won't. I wouldn't recommend this doctor's office to ANYONE
Sometimes the wait can be as much as two hours, so this is a drag. However, he is very caring and patient when it comes to explaining a condition or treatment. His nurse(s) is good about returning phone calls regarding health and medical questions.
