I have been seeing Dr. William Boone since I moved to Texas. After having 15 plus years in the medical field myself, and working in a variety of fields and offices, I have to say, Dr. Boone is one of the best physicians I have ever seen. He truly cares about the patient, not how much time he spends with you, not a rush you in rush you out, truly caring about you and your health. I am not exaggerating when I say that Springwood Behavioral Health saved my life. It isnt going to be the same for everyone, but I finished the program with a better understanding of myself and my disease. As someone that has been a "patient" for most of my life, I am familiar with healthcare professionals. The staff at SBH actually cares. I see Dr Fowler and am happy with hin as my physician, however his billing office is very unpleasant to deal with. I received a bill from then almost 2 years after my date of service. I have many documented phone calls (beginning 11.6.07) along with names and extension numbers of people I have spoke with. I have been promsed calls back, yet have never received one. Springwood was not what I expected it was not intensive treatment at all. I was right out of rehab and very motivated. Springwood offers one class, a combined behavior health and addiction and this did not seem to work all the time too many problems to deal with. The leader of the group often let people talk for more then 20 mins about stuff that had nothing to do with our recovery like pets or taxes. I have seen Dr. Boone for the past 14 years and has always had great things to say about him, as well as refer many friends and family. Since Lisa has came on the seen and Karen does a lot of his paperwork the services has gone way down..I hate to make a change in Doctors, but due to his nurses, he has lost a great patient...I will never refer anyone else..
I have been a long-time patient of Dr. William Boone at Mesquite Family Physician, and I refer all of my friends/family to him. He does not watch the clock when he is in the room with you and he is very thorough. He always has a sincere, friendly smile on his face. Even my granddaughters Tiana, age 3 and Aiyana, age 4 like him. I think you will be pleased with the doctors AND staff.
I use Dr. Fowler at this facility. He is an excellent doctor, very thorough and informative. They have a lab on-site so theres no inconvenience.
