The only person down there is Officer Scott treated me and my parents with kindness. Even though this was my first time dealing and learning the rules she understood. She made my parents feel welcome in a place that we shouldn’t be visiting and we were unfamiliar with and scared.
The worst experience I ever had to go through my brother was sent there and it was like the day from hell trying to communicate with any type of professional person in that building was unbelievable constant negligence from coworkers to management one person saying he was in ICU at the same time trying to release him what's ridiculous we had a Phi signed I was never able to receive any information that we were trying to get informed on how he was doing physically and mentally good luck because you will get nowhere with this ... read more
July of 2024 my father was an inmate of the hospital. And may I say they are the worst. Not only did they not allow my mother his wife to even see him once but didn't allow his grandchildren in either. This is for the families that have love ones in the prison at the Galveston Hospital: This is my story about the experience I had with this hospital and the prison regarding my beloved father. My dad had been transferred to this Hospital from prison because he had a stroke 2 yrs ago, I was contacted by them at that time and was asked to come and sign paperwork for a DNR..
