I waited a month for an appointment with this office after being referred by my PCP. The intake process alone involved a 21-step check-in, yet somehow the office couldn’t even provide the correct address in those forms. I had to call to verify the location myself while driving toward where I thought the appointment would be, since Texas Colon & Rectal Specialists has multiple locations. Second to none this dr is the real deal he gave me his personal number so he could check in and allow me to ask questions if needed an absolute saint best dr I’ve ever had the misfortune to get to know , great guy .
I had and colostomy, done by another dr, and I couldn't live with it. I ended up with a really big hernia. I wanted to remove the hernia and reverse the clostomy. 3 other doctors sent me away, however Dr. Giesler was very confident and had no problem doing my surgery. It went very well and now I'm in the healing stages. I would recommend Dr. Giesler, and her nurse Maureen. They are both amazing.
Dr Simmang and his staff are amazing. Needed to get in quickly and was in the next day. Sat down and explained everything for the procedure and what to expect. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would!
Do not attempt to schedule an appointment with this place, especially Dr. G. 3 of 3 appointments I have made have had to be rescheduled due to their lack of organization. The 2nd they just cancelled completely without any attempt to call. I’ve never seen such a terribly run operation. Do yourself a favor and let another specialist capitalize on the insurance money. This place is terrible in every sense.
