Recommendedafter spending 71 days in acute care floor 5, they have some of the most awesome Nurses, Doctors and Volunteers. These individuals need to be praised daily for their patients, concerns, and ability to make the children and family feel comfortable. I cannot praise them enough.
RecommendedThere are no words to express how thankful we are for the team that makes up Texas Children's. From start to finish, every person we interacted with was so helpful and compassionate! The doctors were thorough, and bedside manner top notch. They talked us through everything, took the time to explain, and answered all questions/concerns - we truly felt like we were their only patient! The nursing staff and everyone else who helped care for us were just as amazing. there is no other hospital I will ever take my children to.

Both emergency room trips that I have been here have been a 4 hr wait. One of those trips we ended up walking out without treatment or discharge after sitting in the room for hrs. While sitting in the room I could hear an entire room full of people laughing and the nurses in the hallway just chit chatting. Absolutely HORRIBLE and I will NEVER go here again. Thankfully family advocacy was very nice and apologetic on their behalf and willing to dispute the bill and issues with the TCH leadership team.
