Texas Cellos is wonderful unique experience for a young cello student can benefit from. My son had played with them for several years and has expressed that some of his fondest memories of playing the cello has been playing with them. He had the opportunity to work with great instructors and play with very talented peers. Lead by Joseph Kuipers, the group has played in a cave, with the TCU orchestra and at a variety of other venues. I highly recommend any cello student to join and be part of this unique cello choir group.

The Texas Cello School is a fantastic opportunity for young cellists to study, perform, and learn from their peers and seasoned artists in a close-knit musical environment. Its director, Joseph Kuipers is highly dedicated to elevating the level of young performers in the greater Texas region and offering a rich learning experience for cellists aiming for a career in music.

I went, with my family, to see the Nordic Christmas performance at the McKinney cotton mill. I don't think there's a better gift to give yourself than to pay attention to and attend the Texas cello events. I don't know that there's such thing as disappointment after the first notes are drawn out. I'm not a musician myself, but the experience such beautiful sounds is such a treasure. The music, the arrangements were so unspeakably beautiful. There's nothing you can say that could do justice to being there. It's also a pleasur... read more
