I chose Texas Back Institute for my most recent providers in Healthcare. I also do my mammogram care in the professional building so I was aware of their location and because I had heard many great recommendations from friends. This was my first visit and the experience was good. The girls were very friendly and helpful
The offices of The Texas Back Institute is the absolute best!! I drove ten and half hours just to be seen by Dr. K and would do it all over again if or when I ever need surgery.. After, going through two other spine offices in two other states The Texas Back Institute passed the test. They made the whole process so easy and I don’t know where I would be today if not for them and Dr. K… I’m so thankful I found them.
Dr Thomas Kosztowski performed emergency surgery on me 11/13/2025 when I developed Cauda Equina Syndrome; finding myself suddenly completely numb from the hips down, unable to walk, scared to death. Dr Kosztowski is an expert in the field of neurosurgery and I had excellent outcome from my surgery. CES is a rare, complex syndrome, but my surgical experience was flawless; the expertise and follow up care I have and continue to receive is outstanding. The appointment schedule was off by 1 hour some were 1 hour early and some were1 hour late everyone in the waiting room had this problem
