Dr. Aschenbeck put 1 drop of pain solution in my daughter's eye and immediately did a steroid shot. In my experience, you put pain relieving drops, let them sit a few minutes and then the steroid shot? If that was bad enough, the desk clerks are so, so rude and inattentive. Would definitely not recommend this location. Stick with Dell Laser, absolutely the best in Austin and your eyes are worth it.
Prepare to wait and deal with rude staff. They don’t respect anyone’s time but their own. Added details - after waiting 20 min I asked the front desk if there was a delay, how much longer, etc. I think I was pretty nice about it but my appointment was at 8 am and I was surprised there was such a wait already. The lady there was defensive and said I should expect to wait or something like that. The doctor was not very empathetic and even got angry because I could not see the letters. The staff seemed not to understand that I had just had surgery.
