My ancient Avalon had a stalling issue that other shops could not accurately diagnose. Brock spent a lot of time recreating the issue, and fixed it. Plus it’s just a friendly place. Would return. And unfortunately will with a different old vehicle soon!
With fluid leaking from my power steering hose I did a google search for shops near me and Tex Tune Automotive came up. I’m familiar with the area but the shop has that “keep Austin weird “ kind of vibe. I stopped by and spoke to Brock (the owner) and left my vehicle for a diagnostic. He contacted me the same day with a complete diagnostic that included repair cost/pickup for the next day. The repair was professionally done and on time. I definitely recommend Tex Tune Automotive.
Super happy with TexTune and the service Brock provided. We took our Fiat to the dealer for clutch replacement and was floored by the quoted price. TexTune did it for about half the price and the results have been great. We've found our new shop!
