Found this sandwich spot on Google and originally went in for the turkey bacon, but ended up trying the BBQ chicken instead “The Rob”—absolutely amazing. Loved the music, the vibe, and most importantly, the food. Definitely coming back!
This place is the best! Quality and cost is 100% I will go here until I expire. This is a real life historical place, take advantage San Diego. Im here weekly if not daily. They have other places all over San Diego. Thank you Mr. MACK. 5.0 rating.
Great experience and Mack was wonderful. I got the turkey bacon avocado sandwich at his suggestion and it didn't disappoint!
I ate here for the first time after it was recommended to me by my Physical Therapist, whose office is one building away. First thing I noticed when I walked in was the owner Mack; he amazingly friendly, personable, and was wonderful to converse with. When I went, the restaurant dining area was a bit clustered with boxes and they were only doing take out at that moment, not a problem just something to note if you're going. Arrived around 1:40pm, waited for 5+ minutes alone until Mack finally came out of the kitchen and greeted me at the register. I ordered the Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich on Sourdough, He proceeded to yell my order through the window to the kitchen as I spoke it to him and then said “Last order, TOGO!”, almost as if he wanted me to know they were closing right then.
