Very condescending and horrible attitude.
Reading the bad reviews makes me wonder if we're all talking about the same person. She's always been wonderful & attentive with me and my entire family. I've dealt with my fair share of doctors over the years both professionally & personally, and she has one of the kindest & most gentle bedside manners I've encountered. She's knowledgeable & caring. In fact, we've followed her from one practice to another because we like her and trust her that much.
Dr. Dake is a very conscientious and competent physician: Dr. Dake’s patient care is excellent...as is her staff. I feel very confident in Dr Dake’s care ; her practice of medicine is thorough, as is her analysis of the medical problems I am experiencing. I recommend Dr Dake highly .
Testy and rude and cold as hell and can't smile

Poor bedside manner. Rude, unprofessional office staff. This is not a practice that is committed to patient health.
So stopped going to see this woman over a year ago. Get a letter in the mail today that I missed my annual checkup a week ago? I tried to call the office at 4:45pm no answer, get a recording that the office is closed... please call back during normal business hours, between 8am and 5:00PM... this is commonplace for this office not to answer phones no bedside manner and to be closed when they are supposed to be open.
Dr. Dake is very casual and tells it like it is. She listens to and respects my opinions regarding my treatment. She sees mental health as vital to the physical health of her patients but doesn't just write everything off as anxiety and depression. She does have a very busy schedule and it seems that I always have to schedule a few weeks to a month in advance, but there are other doctors at the practice who will see you on shorter notice if it is urgent.
I seen her when she was still in Mt. Pleasant. I was looking for a family Doctor as my long time Dr. had retired. She prescribed me medication that literally almost killed me! 3 ER visits was the result of her care. Tried to get a emergency appointment when I knew something was terribly wrong and was told I have to wait for the next available appointment! She is Arrogant and belittling and saying that is being kind on my part! She is a terrible person and even a worse Doctor!
