My husband and I ate at Tessa on New Year’s Eve. This was our 5th time there and we have never been disappointed. Great ambiance, food, drink and service. We even saw Michael Strahan there last year! Highly recommend.
Exceptional vibe, great bar, love the interiors, loved the Bruised Kale & Marcona Caeser appetizer, ditto for the Cheese and Salumi Board. However, the Linguini entre was seriously below standard. It was more akin to an entre of salt with a side of cream and linguini. I am sure the pasta was home made. But how could one tell, when trampled on by a conflicting taste? Utter disregard for customers. Did not honor reservation at round table, despite taking credit card to confirm reservation. Also had the audacity to "hold" that same table for another party after the first party left, instead of giving it us , saying they had a reservation.. UM.. so did we. Time to get a more reliable reservation system so you don't make promises you can't keep. Also very noisy, couldn't even hear the person sitting across the table from me. Thoroughly unenjoyable. Go elsewhere!!!
Service was great, the waitstaff was very attentive. Food was delicious, but some of it was overly salty. We had the rabbit cavatelli, shishito peppers app, burrata, and grilled branzino, and all were great! To top it all off we just had to try the goats milk cheesecake creme brûlée and it was fabulous.
