Dana was amazing throughout the entire process! She did a spectacular job helping me in the face of extremely untenable working conditions that Tesla is putting this collision center under. The collision center is extremely understaffed and it shows in the quality of repairs. Repairs were decent but coordination with insurance didn’t happen and I got stuck paying thousands extra.
Very unprofessional staff. If you have NO Tesla insurance, DO NOT use this body shop! They will ask you to pay a lot out of pocket. My car was hit on driver side, and I asked for swapped parts from the repair. They gave me a passenger side headlight instead. I was being asked for extra charge for the OEM part, I am still questioning it they really swapped my headlight or just took my money and pretend they swapped it.
Over the app messages, Bailey from Tesla Collision pre-appointment team explicitly told me that he reserved a Model Y rental for me on the day of my repair drop off. Yet on the day itself, Tesla collision San Jose people told me that they had no rental cars left, and they only do rentals on first come first served basis. No idea what caused the mix up, but it greatly inconvenienced me with no apology or alternatives (and only told to get a hertz or enterprise rental on my own and call my Tesla insurance to arrange it again).... read more
Ryan Kenney at the front was super friendly, attentive, and really went beyond in helping me out and making sure I was taken care of. Great ambassador and extremely efficient at what he does.
