The overall experience was great. However, the car did look like it was refresh from the factory with dusts/minor white paints all around if you look closely. I personally don't mind any of that, but many may due to the premium price. Overall, the experience will differ for anyone, and I believe Tesla can do better to pay further attention to minor details. It was challenging to locate this centre if it's your first time coming here.
Great car but absolutely worst customer service ever. We received a car that was covered in dust and had "sea salt" around the edges of the windows and doors. This was apparently from the transport on the ship and was told it would go away when it had been washed a few times. It is now 1 month later and the marks are still there. The rear light had a scratch on there as well and when we got the car they took pictures and told us someone would be in contact to get that fixed. We picked up MY this morning, very happy with the experience. The car had 86% charge. Tim was very patient and explained us everything we asked and had great recommendations on the car settings. He even waited for us to install the app on another phone to setup the secondary driver. He also took photos for us with the car. The person who was keeping the car in perfect shining conditions was also very helpful, sorry I forgot to get his name. Terrible, we’re not interested, it was like, here’s your car now get lost. First person was about 5min in when they couldn’t answer a question do left and eventually a supervisor arrived who was a bit more helpful still was not really interested. Had to get car cleaned again and front of car buffed as it had not been detailed properly. There was what the supervisor called salt build up from the trip across which he said would fade away by itself over next 4 to 5 days. I've read the reviews before picking up my MY. It's fair to say I've set my expectations just right and I'm happy with the service I received. One advice to fellow Teslans, it's very likely you car is also charged at around 27%. Have your home charging organized before delivery.
