I realize Tesla does not have traditional dealerships, but you would expect to at least be acknowledged when you go into the building. Unfortunately, that has not been the case on multiple occasions. In addition, the parking situation is a mess. It is so lacking that most of the curbs are being used, making maneuvering through the lot a chore. At least, it is a fairly clean facility.

I had a test drive scheduled at 5pm. They called at 4pm to cancel and inform me that overnight they had sold all the models I was wanting to demo.

If you’re expecting this Tesla service center to treat you with flexibility or basic customer care, think again. My vehicle required service through no fault of my own, and I was given a loaner with an unreasonable mileage restriction. I’ve had work done at other Tesla locations where exceptions were made in good faith — but here, the answer was a flat “no” from the General Manager, who hid behind “standard policy” as if it were law. Amazing Car, Disastrously Misaligned Process ​My experience with Tesla Chesterfield started out as a 5-star dream. The demo drive was fantastic, the sales staff was great, and the streamlined app-based process for registration and paperwork was incredibly efficient.
