Dr. Hensle first came into our lives when he came to Babies Hospital from Boston. Prior to that Dr. Peter Puckner was his physician and Dr. Puckner told us he had recruited Dr. Hensle because of his experience as a pediatric physician and his experience with Bladder Extrophy. At the time he arrived Tommy was 2 years old 1977. Over the years Tommy had many surgeries with Dr. Hensle and his associate Dr. Kevin Burbidge. Our experience was really great , I could always talk to him and even let him know when I was unhappy with a... read more

We met Dr. Hensle and Dr. Reilly 32 years ago on St. Patrick's Day when Dr. Hensle did the first of three surgeries on my son, who was 9 weeks old at the time of the first surgery. Both Dr's also took care of my daughter and then my grandson who was having complications due to ALL Leukemia at 11 months old. These are two of the best Pediatric Urologists you will ever find. They are also two of the most compassionate people I've ever met!

I first met dr Hensle when I was 10 years old . He is an extraordinary surgeon going above and beyond for me and my very complicated medical issues . Thanks to him I am doing very well , with a continent urinary diversion , without an appliance , that he came up with when I was 18 years old. I am now 51. I admire him and I love him like a family member. I am grateful and honored to have had him as my surgeon . He is a credit to his field and to humanity for his many contributions. God bless him

My son was referred to Dr. Hensle after he was born with an undescended testcile. After examining my son, Dr. Hensle told me the testicle had died and to leave it alone. There was no ultrasound done to confirm the diagnosis. A year and a half later we were sent for a second opinion and his new Urologist immeditely located the undescended testicle in the canal and my son recently had surgery to bring it down. Dr. Hensle does not take the time to properly diagnose patients.
