Our child was admitted to ACH with concerns for respiratory symptoms after having fevers and symptoms for 2 weeks. Based on her symptoms and lab results the ED provider and overnight admitting provider had concerns for a secondary bacterial infection and started antibiotics. Dr Wood-Katz discontinued the antibiotic stating that a positive result on the viral panel would explain the labs. I am giving them two stars only because the office staff and the nurse were kind and professional which was better than 2 years ago. Requested to see a physician after suffering from appendiceal cancer and was told no, they were too busy. I saw a nurse practioner who was not pleasant, asked why I didn't get my stomach medication from my primary care doctor and said her mother got her medicine from her primary care doctor.
