terrible planning...ever heard of using multiple entrances? just a thought...waited over 2 hours to get in but was one of the LUCKY ones....

This is not the first show you all have ever done and it’s piss poor planning on your all’s part. People drove hours for this and there is no direction for traffic but sit. This is awful that you make people sit in traffic like this.

Drove all the way there from Kokomo with prepurchased tickets to be turned away because there was no parking. This was after waiting in 2 hour traffic that barely moved. Driving home with 2 very upset children. Thanks for the wonderful Saturday.

We traveled the route that was designated. After getting onto hwy 46 south, we spent over two hours in the car blindly stuck in a rolling parking lot. They sent us all east on 42 past the airport all the way to the Gibson Sports Center on Tabortown Rd. Hundreds of us were waiting for school buses to shuttle us as the air show began without us. Nobody had any idea what was going on or what to tell us. We gave up after 12:15 and headed home. Very poor planning, I would like my $34.00 back!

Three hours in line to get into the Airshow only to be turned away a mile from the entrance gate ... this was an extremely frustrating situation.... organizers of the event should refund the tickets purchased ....

Absolutely ridiculous, it took us 3 hours in traffic that should have took a hour, we were re-routed two miles from the airport, 100's of people waiting to be bused back to the airport, a half hour ride on bus, crying kids, handicapped, this is the most piss poor non organized event I've ever been to. We're leaving! We will never come back or recommend this event ever! YOU should be ashamed of yourselves. You should refund those of us that could not get in. Terre Haute police and state police are a joke when it comes to traffic still in traffic been in the truck for over 1 hour and 30 mins and counting. That is coming off of U.S.40 and still have 5 miles to go. All the cops Ive seen sitting at the intersection are sitting in their cars doing nothing and not doing their jobs. It is sad that the Indy 500 holds more people and they can get traffic in and out with out a problem. Try to take my son to the air show but have to view it from the truck stuck in traffic. Horrible contingency plan. I have been to over 35 airshow and this is the first one I left before I even arrived. You drove us forever in the country to get to a sports complex where busses shuttled you to the air show. over an hour and a half wait for the bus shuttles (you should have had MORE) and then when they pulled up they went to the end of the line where the people were just coming up and getting in line so those of us who were standing for a long time did not get on the buses we ended up leaving and not even going t... read more
