Terrata/LGI Homes: Real estate agents and buyers beware of this builder, they are attempting everything in their power to not pay a real estate commission and use strong arm tactics after contracts are signed. We bought a house in December of 2021. about a week before closing, and on the closing date, we did a walk-through to blue tape all of the items in the house that needed to be fixed. They were all noted, and a promise was made to have them all fixed. To this date we still have very few of them fixed. The contractors that show up, do so at their convenience, and the construction management company, LGI, are very unprofessional. Closed on my home in 2021. I was threatened by management to close when my house was not complete. I had a long list of malfunctions, mismeasurements, and repairs that LGI promised to make right. They have failed miserably. The builder is all talk no action.
