Tucked away on a quiet street in the North End, the maroon awning and open windows of Terramia Ristorante beckon to those with a taste for modern Italian fare. The specialties here include Maine lobster with raddichio, fritters and wild boar sausage over polenta. The homemade Abruzzi-style spaghetti and the risotto should not be missed. Try the pan-roasted filet mignon or fresh-cut veal chops. An extensive array of beer and wine are available to complement you meal.

North End's Best – This was trip 5 or 6 to Terramia and it is always a treat. A cozy homey room, the food is fresh and fine. The wine list is extensive and varied. The mista salad is large and delicious. The lobster fritters are deep fried and tasty with a balsamic glaze and fried onions. My husband loved his veal chop served over risotto. I had the spaghetti (soooo fresh) topped with a delectable cherry tomato sauce and fresh parm. Terramia is a perfect dining experience.
Fabulous food, lousy service – Food was excellent. Service was horrible. Had waiter who thought he was the world's answer to the service industry. Basically ignored entire time. Had to ask bus boy for help. Poor service almost overshadowed food, but was fabulous couldn't be tarnished by arrogant server.
Kiss the Chef! – I went here because a great friend of mine told me he wanted to kiss the chef after his meal... He was right! It is small, so go in wouldn't go with a party bigger than four people... but the food is wonderful.
Best Italian food. – This tiny little spot is amazing. It only seats 30 or so, so make reservations, but this place is worth the effort. The food is the best I've had on the North End by far and the atmosphere was superb. Prices are fairly high, but you pay for the best Italian meal in town.
Always top of the list! – One of my favorite North End restaurants. Never a disappointment. Excellent food and service.
