Walter "chipper" Ray who worked in what used to be the former Station Square Flower Shop right next door at 8 Greenway Terrace and even worked for the West Side Tennis Club landscaping some of the very first US Opens and Station Square itself, when Althea Gibson was the first African American to win a trophy.
