My neighbour had a chat with me informing about the roof leak in their garage. Apparently, their builder, Terrace Homes, is blaming the installation of my solar panels for causing a big downpour of rain on my neighbour’s roof which caused the leak. Are you guys for real? Just Facts .<Updated Again > Cost 4.8 percent extra . I'm heading to the 5th year now. After 4 years of delays, Im only getting 7k in liqidated damages. Sent an inspector at plate hight found defects . Tried to make a case it all meets Australian standandards . CC, my inspector who said it is not meeting standards. Over 4 years since signing and no end in sight. Building a 150m² floor area townhouse, straight off-the-plan. 450 working day contracted 'construction' timeframe, 450 additional working days in 'Extensions of Time' variations that are a) not substantiated and b) still, as of Sept 2024, blaming the COVID-19 pandemic, on top of 1.5yrs in admin (9mths between signing the building contract and obtaining a BP and then another 4mths from then to slab down). 3.5 years ago we entered into a contract with Terrace Homes to build our first home….the biggest mistake of our life. Every month we are throwing thousands of dollars out of the window in interest, bills, rent etc. and we can’t do anything about it. It feels like we’re being kept hostage by this company.
