We had a private consultation with Dr Yuen and were told the referral would be sent to both our GP and the public Children’s Hospital. It wasn’t sent for almost two months, and we only found out after contacting the hospital ourselves. We also had to chase the clinic for over 10 days to receive any documents. Communication felt rushed and dismissive, and we did not feel properly supported. The delay caused unnecessary stress and postponed our child’s care, which was very concerning.

I would like to provide feedback regarding my experience with Dr Yuen. We were expecting the referral back to the public Children’s Hospital after our private consultation. ​Excellent Care and Bedside Manner ​I highly recommend Dr. Albert Aralar. He has a fantastic bedside manner and I was extremely happy with the laser treatment I received. My optometrist worked with his office to get me an appointment and subsequent surgery date for my retinal tear very quickly—just a few days later. While there was a short wait on the day, Dr. Aralar took his time to talk me through the entire procedure and completely calmed my anxiety. I felt well-cared for and confident in his hands.
