My mother-in-law was transferred here on Friday, 1/10 from a short-term facility in Scottsdale. She had been doing very poorly for quite a while, and sadly, she passed in her sleep on Saturday, 1/11. I came to pick up her belongings today, 1/12, and I was greatly impressed with the kindness and compassion I was shown by the staff, especially the lovely young lady at the front desk and the kind young man who kept her phone locked away until I could retrieve it. Mother was a resident at Terra Point for a few years. I kept a close eye on things. I feel confident to say, we trust this facility. The staff is legitimately kind hearted, we had no issues with communication. Executive Director Mrs. Perkins always made time to answer our questions and concerns. Mother's room was always clean and tended too. There was plenty of space for her to wander and the participate in activities. She was a handful, but they always treated her with respect and dignity. Used Terria point for respite care several times. Found the staff to be wonderful. Treated loved one with dignity and compassion. very pleased with the care provided.
Posting on behalf of Sheryl……My Mom became a resident of Terra Pointe in October 2022. When we began this difficult journey, we were overwhelmed and emotional. Then we had our tour with Jennifer, and she instantly made us feel comfortable and put our worries at ease. The facility is beautiful, clean, welcoming, safe and the rooms are peaceful. Grandma liked it here at first .They talked down to her and treat her like she belongs in a baby ward. I got her out.The longer she stayed there the more red flags provided revelation. I got treated like a bother when I came to visit and little to no respect.When grandma said she wanted to leave we got her out of there.
