EDIT**** I am moving this to a 1 star (Should be zero) I booked an appointment via their website booking portal over a month ago (See issues I had below). The Terra Nova Clinic called me this morning 30 minutes before my appointment (I was already on route) to let me know that their online booking portal was accepting appointments when doctors were not available. This clinic is the absolute worst of the Canadian healthcare system. My new GP is on vacation (she is wonderful and professional, would recommend Dr Gibson-Boyce!), so they booked me an appointment with another doctor, I just needed to confirm my medication dose was working and refill my prescription. They did not tell me that the doctor I spoke to was out of province, and she definitely did not follow the BC College of Physicians virtual care guidelines. I've been with this clinic for 2 years now and overall I have never experienced such a disorganized clinic before. I don't think it's the front staffs fault however the manager really needs to get the establishment under control. I was happy to finally get a family doctor about 2 years ago (Dr. Gibson-Boyce) but I feel every time I get a chance to actually see her or have a phone appointment with her she comes across as unsure? or unconfident? I love the doctors, nurse practitioners and the reception staff that I’ve met at this clinic and the care has been good. The problem is it's practically impossible to book and appointment. I keep getting an error warning when I try to book online, phone calls are rarely answered, and when you leave a message they don’t call you back. They are clearly understaffed which is a real shame.
