One of the most knowledgeable, empathetic, and passionate doctors I know. Couldn't recommend her enough!
I was nervous about seeing a new doctor, but Dr. Carlson was very nice and helpful. She related to me and spoke from the heart when she advised me about the options I have for treatment. I have always felt like she values my input/opinion and is so extremely knowledgeable. I could not ask for a better provider.
I'm giving a one star review for the office of Boulder Creek Psychiatry. We phoned for an appointment and were told Dr Carlson not taking new patients but Dr Love was and they work closely together. They failed to tell us Dr Love is not a medical doctor but a nurse. $500 for an appointment with a nurse who totally misdiagnoised, as much less training and experience. Teri has been a savior. I am so thankful to have happened to be connected with her several years ago. She knows how to connect with kids of all ages. She so easily builds a relationship with the patient whether it be a middle-schooler, teenage daughter, or college-aged son. My kids adore her. I wish she was also a therapist because my kids trust her so much are are so willing to open up to her. She explains things in a way that makes what’s happening in the brain easier to understand. Dr. Carlson has been such an asset for our 5-year-old son. She is knowledgeable, experienced, and thorough; she has great bedside manner and responds thoughtfully to all our questions. I assume she is equally effective with her adult patients. Dr. Carlson is well-respected as the local expert in her field. We knew she had a great reputation and are thrilled to see it first-hand.
