She walked in saying she could not help me and acted like she did not want to be there. I had to pull answers out of her. The diagnostic tests were done as a second thought, and she just went through the motions. The referral she gave me to a pain doctor was not completely filled, which was questioned by the pain doctor when I saw them.
I’ve been under the care of Dr. W for over two years now, and my experience has been very positive. She has been very thorough in her approach, including referring me to other doctors within the MedStar Health network when additional evaluation was appropriate. Dr. W is one of those rare physicians who takes the time to answer patient questions and thoroughly explain her diagnosis, treatment options, and expected outcomes. In addition she is a very talented neurosurgeon which I can attest to personally. I highly recommend her.
