This is the second time I’ve tried to schedule an appointment with Dr. Kilgore (or any other physician at this location), and both times I was never seen due to the ridiculous wait time. I work a full-time job, I have a toddler, and coordinating time for an appointment can be extremely challenging. Today, I arrived at 2:25pm for a 2:45pm appointment (asked to arrive by 2:30pm), but after waiting until 3:22pm, I had to get back to work. Kilgore is wonderful but her nurses are very rude. The one nurse named Amber laughed when my husband called and said he was out of medicine and said he couldn't get anymore until he is seen at a further out date. So a month without medicine and he can't see the doctor. I want her reported and the lady that gave him the wrong information when she set his appointment. It's dangerous for him not to have his medicine and they don't care.

I felt heard. I felt that my opinions and knowledge of my health was considered into developing my treatments goals. Dr. Kilgore is definitely a great doctor. I have been in SC for 8 years and had had 5 different PCP doctors. About 2 months ago, I decided I wanted to change my doctors into the MUSC health system. During this time, I got really sick, still am. I met with a different provider for primary care on Monday and I did not feel heard.
