I wish there was a way to leave 0 Stars and I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience that I had with her a few years back. Its a bit lengthy but worth reading. Unfortunately, I found this nurse's bedside manner to be low-key rude and a bit unjust. She came across as dismissive and even laughed a bit when you dare address or express your concerns. I was first referred to Tera Ritchie a couple years ago when I was seeking to replace my provider with whom I was extremely disappointed. I have a pretty extensive family medical history. You name it, a relative probably had it. I was just going for my annual checkups and occasional bouts of bronchitis. After coming down with crippling arthritis Tera has been very thorough with reviewing my meds, making adjustments if needed, based on rheumatology input, and working with me to lessen the severe inflammation flare ups. I moved to Florida 4 years ago and needed a new PCP. Tera has been that for me since then. I am not a let’s go to the dr type person. I really prefer not to go at all haha. Tera has been very accommodating to my stand-off ish approach and tries to find ways to make me feel comfortable in the visits. She is straight to the point with me which is what I like. I have and will continue to recommend her to everyone I know!

Made an appt and as never sent a confirmation. Then when I called they had actually mistakenly made my appt for a date where I’m out of town for a wedding. Instead of offering to help they said I did make that appointment date. They remember all their conversations, I can’t deal. Now they want me to wait another 4 weeks when I made this appt over a month ago. Waste of time. They aren’t efficient

Another example of a medical provider downplaying women’s health. My family has a long history of insomnia, and my sleep has been suffering. I asked to trial a sleep aid during my annual physical and after pushing back three times, left the appointment in tears. This happened back in July, and was extremely upsetting. Her dismissal will stick with me for a long time in terms of the lack of trust I now feel with providers. She told me that being “less anxious” would help me get better sleep.
