I just moved into town, didn’t have a mechanic yet and a friend recommended Tenpenny in Mills River. He was busy but was still able to accommodate me last minute on a Friday afternoon. Great service. Highly recommended to others and I will return to him for my next automotive needs.

Trust. Not a word often used when it comes to mechanics but these guys have earned mine. I never hesitate to send my daughters down there for help, and don't feel like I have to call ahead to clear the way for them. Give them a chance and they will earn your business. But be prepared, the owner operates like the road runner on speed. Don't confuse his wide open pace for his not caring about your needs.
