AMAZING
All the staff there is amazing! From the receptionist to the nurse, Robert, and Dr. Gilbert. Everyone was kind and reassuring with my daughter. I definitely recommend their office!
I loved Gilbert when I was a kid but when I came in with a fistula next to my then stoma he screamed at me and slammed my head to the hospital bed when I screamed in pain when he put that long qtip in the fistula l. My actual peds surgeon at the time was Dr Sonia Walker and they had a massive fall out cause of what he did to me so she left the practice so I then had to get an adult surgeon to reverse the stoma the next year who was God sent and took great care of me when I was only 15. He was a very kind and professional dr.,l appreciate how he took care of my son.
Also edited to add every time I have been called by his nurse or I have called them, they have been very rude. From now on we will be going to Birmingham for what ever else may come up . Dr Gilbert is a great doctor and surgeon. But we were told to be there and ready for my daughters surgery @ 6:00am. My daughter is 3. We waited for 5 hours! They didn’t start her surgery till 11:00. How do they expect a 3 year old to wait for 5 hours and not be able to snack or drink anything. They should really work on their time line becau... read more
