Lovely place; all the team here is super nice and friendly.
TOA spent 3 years running tests and more tests CAT scan, MRI and MRI with contrast and multiple xrays. Couldn't figure out what was wrong with back. Referred me three times and nothing was done. Finally contacted the new Ascension office and got a great neurosurgeon. Saw on 10/17 and had surgery on 11/20. Still recovering, but in less pain already. I will never use TOA again.
I would not recommend TOA. I went in May for a surgical opinion on my hip. They took X-rays and told me they couldn’t help because I “didn’t need a joint replacement.” I went to Vanderbilt Orthopedics instead, where a CT scan revealed that I actually had no cartilage left in the ball-and-socket of my hip. Thanks to Vanderbilt, I was able to get a total hip replacement and finally address my pain.
