I was referred to a Hematologist here because I developed GI issues in the last 2 years that prevent me from taking and absorbing iron supplements, which have been critical for me to maintain my iron levels throughout my life. My iron levels were dropping and borderline low. This facility would not even let me schedule a consultation appointment because my iron levels were still technically in range.
