10 is Tops! – We stopped by after seeing Sideways at the Uptown. Could not have had a better time. They even had wines by the glass selected to celebrate the movie we had just seen. We shared the whole fried bass-messy-tasty-fun! A diamond in the rough of Queen Anne.
Uggggh! – Went for the Dinner at 8 special being offered during September at 32 local restaurants. Food was less than mediocre, service was unreliable to the point of non-existent. Restaurant ambience was good, but that's not enough to outweigh the food and service issues. Will not go back.
EXCEPTIONAL! – This is a regular dining spot for us. Quiet and unobtrusive service, fun wine list and creative FLAVORFUL foods. Love the lobster risotto and the stuffed eggplant. Mike the bartender is a hoot. Best restaurant by far on Queen Anne.
Wonderful choice! – IT WAS WONDERFUL! I found this restaurant through this website, and followed fellow "city-searcher's" reccomendations. The service was friendly, attentive, and helpful. I took my best friend from out of town but it would also be perfect for a romantic dinner. The food was wonderful also (I loved the beef kabob appetizer) - I really can't think of one negative comment to say about this place. Check your bill! – Lovely atmosphere, decent food, but we had to send our bill back twice because we were charged full price instead of happy hour prices. Ridiculous! Someone at another table mentioned this happens frequently. We had a good time, but having to argue with the staff about the bill (not once, but twice) put a damper on the evening. I'll think twice before going back.
Ten is a Treat! – We've been to 10 Mercer twice and will go back again. Great food, friendly, unpretentious service, soothing atmosphere. It's a perfect spot for a reasonably quick dinner before the Rep, Ballet, or Sonics, but has the ambiance and menu to support a leisurely, lingering meal, not to mention the extensive wine list. Big portions let others taste without giving away half your plate. Convenient parking next door.
Classy little joint! – I first went to 10 Mercer because a friend of mine new the bartender. I was reluctant to go because it was a weeknight, and I live on the Eastside (long drive!). I went anyways, and had a wonderful time! The service has always been great, as have been the martinis and other drinks. I hope to return soon to have dinner, which I'm sure will be equally as superb!
what a sunday night!! – Looking for something to do on a sunday evening, friends steered us down to Ten Mercer. WOW! It was much like our nights back East where a DJ would set up and play QUIETLY (in relation to other DJs), with a diverse set including jazz, mellow soul and conscious mind type stuff.
