He is terrible! Probably the worst in our city. Always trying to upsell. Which is sad for elderly patients. His wife is rude too. Birds of a feather.
Terrible. Sold me Multifocal lenses for both eyes! I was duped! Didn't consider my lazy eye or corneal scarring. Must be making a commission. No personality. No approachability. Be very careful. He's extremely inconsistent and his mood depends on the day. Made a huge mistake with my vision. And, now I'm left having to rely on others to drive me to appointments. Dr. Ten Hulzen performed cataract surgery in September 2023 for me. As a 76-year-old senior citizen who has worn glasses since the age of 15 or so, I have seen better now, without glasses, than I have for years. Although he assures me that I will still need glasses after my eye completely heals, I am grateful for his skill and professional courtesy, and for my enhanced eyesight. Does not listen. Has not corrected my blurry vision at all. Just continues to offer more surgery like he's working on commission. Always doing the upsell routine.
Went in with blurry vision. He saw no problems. Left with blurry vision and no solution. Won't go back. Doctor had no personality at all. Office seemedvstark and cold. No follow up.
