I've heard four reviews on this ward. One positive, three negative. I dislike this location, the staff, and the same can be said for volunteer behavioral health and moccasin bend. These places waste money and resourses and sedate people against their will. I have yet to hear of a single violent incident in this ward or moccasin bend in which chemical sedatives were used. None of these places have medicine, they have respiration fails. This isn't a service and I Durance companies should not be paying for non and malfeasance.
Honestly I needed someplace safe to be for a few days and med adjustment. I came back out of the ward having had a few days to get my head better and with a med regimen that was effective as well as a diagnosis that actually makes sense vs the one that was assigned to me years back that noone wanted to take a second look at. If I am ever in a situation that requires me to seek inpatient help again I would go back in a heartbeat.
DO NOT GO HERE!! If I can give a negative 5 I would to this Hospital. This is the worst Hospital. That my son experience down here in Tennessee. It's not that clean. I was lied to when my son got hurt. They don't talk to you much and they don't respect the patients. My son came home sick. And the doctor barely speaks to the patients or the family.. The food is nasty and the beds are just thin mattresses on wooden slabs. They made my son sleep on a mat in the conference room on the floor. So they can watch him with the camera... read more
