This is our first apartment that me and my 4 roommates all lived in and became not only roommates but close friends together. We also made other best friends for life in this building. We really enjoyed all the amazing events as well like the cereal bar or the rooftop BBQ (to name a few of many!) that made coming home after a long weekend away or even a day at work extra special. Note: this review is for Ten Select, Ten at Clarendon’s sister building managed by the same leasing office and property management company. Beware: greedy and deceitful management company in a low quality apartment building! I lived in this building for a year and was able to overlook the numerous issues (poorly designed sink and shower that didn’t properly drain, routine package pileup in an unmanaged lobby, broken garage door that left residents unable to drive in or out, low quality appliances and flooring, nightly blarin... read more
This review is for the sister building Ten Select, but it is managed by the same company and shares a leasing office and “amenities.” While Lamar and Hector, the maintenance team, were outstanding—by far the best I've encountered—and the apartment layout was spacious, my overall experience at this building was a nightmare. First, the rent increase was absolutely insane. After living here for a year, they raised our rent by nearly $2,000 a month (a 37% increase), forcing us to move out.
