Temple of the Universe is a nonprofit organization founded in 1975 by Mickey Singer. The Temple is a long-established yoga and meditation center where people of any religion or set of beliefs can come together to experience inner peace. The Temple is located on approximately 600 acres of beautiful land outside of Gainesville, Florida. Religious services, classes on spiritual growth, and daily meditation are offered. Beautiful place were you could meet wonderful, genuine people. I am glad i found first the book that Mickey wrote and as a result I found this place.
I visited back in February having been drawn to visit the temple. Being the first to arrive I sat down and meditated, when next I opened my eyes it was as though I had jumped through my computer monitor while watching "Living From a Place of Surrender". It was such a vivid experience. That day and the subsequent day I will remember always for the kindness the people in the temple showed my wife and I, as well as the wisdom Mickey had instilled both in his talks and personally.
