I have been to America’s best psychiatrists—at Harvard, Brown, Johns Hopkins, Dartmouth, Massachusetts General Hospital, Georgetown University Hospital, the University of Chicago, and other “best hospital in the world”-level places. Over 40 years of intermittent but severe depression, I have seen seven psychiatrists. Dr. Temple is by far the best. Thanks to her I have now had a decade depression free.

Dr. Temple is one of the best doctors who has ever treated me. She listens to me, she comforts me, she educates me, and she provides a safe space for me. She truly takes a holistic approach to treating patients, which I appreciate, as someone who is on a lot of medications for medical reasons. Dr. Temple is patient and kind. She takes her time to make fully informed decisions regarding care. She does not encourage medication intervention without deep thought. Dr. Temple is the best all around.

I have been seeing Dr. Temple for 6 years. She has always spent time with me in every appointment to truly understand my concerns. Dr. Temple has a Master's degree in genetics and she is always searching for the reason "why" you are seeing her - not just looking for a short term solution. Dr. Temple has treated me holistically and takes my medical, psychological and social history into account with every decision she makes. She is truly an amazing doctor.

I basically was a lost cause, having tried all anti depressants. While we tried some unusual ones, waiting for it to kick in, she was a steadying influence who assured me we’d find the answer. Passed her name to another person having trouble finding the right meds, and got relief too. Teresa duked it out with my insurance company and prevailed! Unfortunately, I am not sure if they are expanding the practice. But I would call and see if they are, never know when someone moves etc…..

Charged 800.00 for new patient visit. Couldn’t work zoom technology. Could not decide on medication for me; told me to do my own research. Didn’t return phone call. Worst provider I’ve seen in 30 years. Filled complaint with NJ regulators.

If I could have actually gotten to Dr. Temple - who came highly recommended to me - this review might have been different but don't waste your time. Her office manager - Teresa - is incompetent and unresponsive. Thoroughly unprofessional. Such a shame when so many need help now. Don't waste your time.

Limited space to write so a brief summary in dealing with Dr. Temple and her circus before you get involved. I was warned everything about her office was a nightmare. Booked for my young adult daughter with depression, anxiety, ADHD, etc. Initial consult was difficult to get (with Covid) but she ended up spending 2 hours going through everything and I was encouraged. Everything after that it was horrible. No communication and her assistant Teressa is the most negligent person I've ever dealt with (as stated by others). Never... read more

Promised to help me and when things got bad she dropped me like a hot potato. Some Hippocratic oat. More like a Hippocrate. Not to mention got me hooked on meds I had to detox off of alone as no one else prescribed them as they are illicit and addictive. .
