Twice now a Tempe Police officer has helped my son when he was getting overheated. The first time, a few weeks ago an officer stopped and bought him some coconut water. My son had gotten lost ( we recently moved here) when out cycling and was beginning to suffer from heat exhaustion. Then today, an officer stopped and helped him cool down and got him home safely when he was getting overheated, What great compassion! Thank you so much for helping my son!
Just watched a man beat a woman down...I called the police and told them location descriptions and even stayed...the dispatcher continued asking questions and I had to clock back into work...she said "ma'am im sorry ur frustrated that I have to ask these questions if u cant answer them I cant file the report" and she disconnected the call....im furious !!!! I had to watch that lady get beat down for nothing No stars here...horrible response from 911
Today the City of Tempe got their pound of flesh from me. It isn't enough to give your own time and resources (vehicle and gas) as a meals on volunteer in the City of Tempe, they have ever vigilant officers (Officer J. Young) out in the community issuing improper right hand turn citations at all costs. Tempe City Court Judge Allen graciously reduced my fine from $221 to $186. I hope City Judges are elected because I have a very long memory and even larger circle of friends in the City of Tempe. I won't forget this come elect... read more

I have to take a minute and heap praise upon the men and women of the Tempe police force and all the supporting groups that played a role in last nights search for my elderly mother in law. This fine bunch of law enforcement officials pulled out all the stops and expended every effort to find her and bring her home safely.
