From the moment I walked into Tempe Birth Center it felt like home. Kate, Hanifah and the rest of the Hummingbird Midwives gave me the most amazing, personal, and magical care. I ended up transferring to Tempe Birth during the middle of my pregnancy and I went from dreading appointments to being excited about them. I cannot speak more highly of TBC and their entire staff. My husband and I were early in pregnancy and still deciding between hospital birth and birth center birth. After touring several birth centers in the Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tempe area, it was a resounding yes when following our consult with Kate at TBC. My first postpartum experience wasn’t the most positive and rather traumatic (did NOT deliver with Tempe Birth Center for my first). From the first moments I met Kate I felt safe, heard and confident. She quickly made a comprehensive, tentative, birth plan with me and followed through with amazing prenatal care.
