The Glass Cutter First and for most glass suppliers such as Temp-tech or even Old Castle warranty their glass the same. If your glass broke chances are it's the installers that put it in. The shower door being scratched was also from the installers also, there was something on the door that was abbrasive when they cleaned it, it scratched it up, but it is a possible that the tempering was not clean when they temper it. Quality Company that backs up their product. I have been dealing with Temp Tec and other glass suppliers since 1993. While they are not perfect, and no glass company I have found is, they stand behind their products and will go the extra yard to ensure you have a quality product and your customer is satisfied. This is why I deal with them to this day.
Rebuttal for review posted 5/18/07 regarding Warranty of Products! An anonymous person claims that we at Temp-Tech do not warranty any of our products. This claim is totally untrue. Anyone that does business with us knows that we stand behind our products. After a customer has received & accepted the glass, there is no way to tell where or when the glass was damaged. They do not warrant their product. Apparently, Temp-Tech does not warrant their glass. We purchased shower glass from Temp-Tech, which was installed by a professional installer. A few weeks later, when the lighting conditions in the shower room were right, we noticed a series of scratches on the glass. We contacted Temp-Tech and talked to Guy Dekker, who told us that they did not warrant their glass in any way. Temp- Tech Very difficult to deal with We had $15,000 worth of windows installed in our condominum in the summer of 2001 by a company that bought their materials from Temp-Tech. Two of the windows are now cracking. The installer refused to make any effort to assist us, and so I requested the name of the manufacturer. Temp-Tech was the company they said manufactured the windows. Temp-Tech Industries Inc Being a glass installer you can't lay blame on Temp Tech. You have to bring it up with who ever you had installing your glass.The glass could have been scratched from the installers using razor blades improperly, while cleaning the glass. Or it could have been scratched in transit if it was not properly secured on the truck. Excellent on many levels I have had a few jobs done with Temp-Tech and they are very courteous, fast and extremely cost effective. I continue to use their services and recommend them for even the smallest jobs. They cut the glass for my desks as well as provided glass table tops for an event I designed and everything is top notch quality.
