Really nice duckpond here in Temecula and it’s super relaxing! Really peaceful environment lots of shady benches to sit down and enjoy nature. Ducks are super friendly and I’m sure they’re hungry lol Sign says do not feed them. It’s a pretty good size so you can walk laps around the entire pond. The water looks super blue and there’s plenty of parking. I really enjoyedmy lunch break there.
It seems like a really nice park, it’s just a shame that when ever you get close you get accosted by crazy people that feel the need to wave flags in your face with their aggressive opinions on them.
Question//Does anyone know the water in the pond looks toxic it is gross and dirty, slimy with algae it clings to turtles. Made a trip their today and not many ducks in the water and the turtle population very few compared to a week ago. I counted only Three turtles today one was one close to shore a top the pipe that is to filterer, the next was on top the rock that they usually populate, and only one was seen to bob a head out of the water. Does the city or any one care for the lake and the animals?
Good picnic place or to just chill and look at the water
