Consistency is key. This place is awesome! Fair prices, Awesome service. I travel past at least 10 shops to come here. I am mixed and have hair that can be hard to deal with for some, not a problem when I come here.

I’ve been here no less than 3-4 times, hoping I just caught the owner on a bad day; but now I can safely say I should have given another barber a chance. The owner is consistently moody and verbally combative, and never makes the effort to earn repeat business. Instead he drones on about men’s rights, and how his wife and daughter don’t appreciate what an amazing guy he is… It’s going to be super inconvenient for me, but I’m going to drive to San Diego next time I need a haircut.

Rene is an amazing caretaker of one's scalp and hair. I have visited him shortly before COVID for the first time--and recently I have begun visiting his establishment again. The haircut and head-shave are top notch, and Rene works to achieve the best results. I'll be back throughout these hot months, and again when the mood strikes me for a fantastic service!
