We booked a whale watching trip with Telstar Charters and we had an amazing time. Captain Sean and Alex were wonderful. The waters were slightly choppy at times but Captain Sean did a great job navigating the waves. We saw a pod of 5-6 grey whales (moms and calves). The weather cooperated and we were able to see them very clearly during the migration. Highly recommended!
Another excellent trip on the Telstar! Captain Sean and first mate, River, made this ‘mom and kids’ fishing trip perfect! Everyone on board either caught their limit of ling cod and a nice variety of rock fish - or was very close to hitting their limit. Sean and River made it such a fun experience- sharing fishing tales and random life funnies, along with recipe ideas to take home with our catch. Had a great time with our Group of 13. Shaw, River and Alex were welcoming and attentive. Great job, Crew!!
Captain and crew was amazing!! They took us to deep water and didn't do so well, so he took us to the shallows and we knocked th dead. The captain kept us out an extra hour to make sure we all caught our fill. Probably the best charter I've ever been on, hands down. Thank you for a great time.
