We stayed centrally to access venues to attend a family wedding. Starting with the positives we booked a family room which was large compared to my parents standard room. Room was okay clean, dust was visible as well as mould and grime in the shower. On the second day the fresh towels had stains. The worst part of our stay was a knock on the door at 2:30 am we believe it was an uber driver knocking on the wrong door. Ich hatte die Mocktails versucht , die sind wunderbar. Die Bar im Erdgeschoss hat eine gute Auswahl von Getränken und eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre. Die Dachbar ist ähnlich gross und bietet im Sommer einen schönen Alternative. Die Preise sind fair und Bedienungen sind zuvorkommend.

A great building with everything you need in a hotel and no fuss. Fab 1950s aesthetic, comfortable and generous size room, good value. ( Reasonable breakfast except the pastries which were disappointing.) We'd definitely stay there again when next in Coventry.

Very reasonably priced - feels like a much more expensive hotel. It has a newspaper theme as this used to be where the local paper was printed. Staff were lovely. I booked a wheelchair accessible room and it was HUGE. It had electric curtains which is a really cool feature. It has emergency buttons rather than cords so not quite as safe but an understandable choice. I didn’t trust the shower seat to hold my excessively high weight. The shower was otherwise really nice.
